Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We have a lot of repetitive tasks where one "task" has up to 15 subtasks that go with it. It's very easy to forget one of these subtasks, so ClickUp helps keep me accountable. I like it because I can easily push tasks out week after week if they aren't completed. A lot of what I do relies on client responses, so I can't have a set schedule for each task; each one takes its own amount of time depending on the client and any complexities that pop up. I started using ClickUp because we were training someone new and didn't have every step documented, and we needed to track what she was responsible for. This was the catalyst for getting everything set up, but the product has become a mainstay for us.
- Templates
- Mass moving of tasks
- Sorting tasks in different ways
- Easy to turn on and off notifications based on preferences
- Assigning tasks is really easy
- Intuitive
- Visual progress tracking by task. I'd love to assign a percentage to an uncompleted sub-task. Then I see a horizontal status bar to see how close to competition I am.
- Hard to figure out how to copy a view from one list to another
- I love the idea of the timer per task but haven't been able to put it to good use. I can't figure out how to add it to a list where I've already set up the view.
- Note the date is very small in the comments section; I always write it at the beginning so I don't have to open the comment to see the last date.
- Productivity has increased
- Accountability
- Thoroughness of job completion
I'm the main user of ClickUp as I work with a small team. When I hire people I set them up with ClickUp for collaborative task management.
ClickUp has been great.
