Empowering subject matter experts
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp allowed us to design our data and workflow in a manner that fits our way of doing things. It has empowered us as subject matter experts to bend the technical world around us, rather than us having to adjust our workflows around a standard industry template. We love the freedom to design the tech world we operate in.
Pros
- Great relational data storage
- Easy to navigate hierarchy
- Great dashboards as a result
Cons
- Calculations should be enhances
- Additional folder level would be helpful
- Percentage custom field would be great
- We are getting the work of two people done by one.
- We have improved the visibility of effort greatly
- We have reduced internal e-mail by at least 80%
Transparency of work has been taken to the next level. The ease of taking over from someone or helping out have increased significantly. Making process visible and compliance to process as clear as day, made a huge difference on the accuracy of work and the record keeping of past transactions. More importantly, seeing how people work, assisted in changing processes to a more efficient frontier.
We moved away from the miriad of MS tools and were able to consolidate our internal world to a single place. We log into CU first now, and often only look at Outlook much later in the day. If its important, it will be in CU. The ability to work with data in different views on the same platform is a game changer for us.
Access is great - but not a shareable cloud environment. Monday.com is a close second - CU pips them at the post at this stage. It does become difficult to switch so the choice of tool at the beginning is very very important. The continuous improvements in CU gives me a lot of confort that functions not yet available - will become available soon. They are great at listening to their userbase and reacting to improvement suggestions.
