Overall Satisfaction with CodeTwo Email Signatures

We've always been using a centralized email signature solution on our on-prem Exchange environment and now [as] we're migrating our emails to the cloud, we also need a signature software that supports the cloud. We looked at a couple of options including our on-prem supplier, but CodeTwo was the cheapest and met all our requirements.
  • Easy to setup
  • Easy and straight-forward signature management
  • Allows editing of HTML code
  • Supports all user properties that are synced to Azure AD
  • Changing font type and color doesn't work as expected when editing multiple lines in the simple editor
  • The custom scheduler lacks the option to recurrently schedule yearly events, e.g. the yearly Christmas signature from Dec 15 to Jan 15.
  • You can preview a signature with real user data when editing the template, but you cannot preview a signature based on multiple rules combined like a regular signature followed by a marketing banner and then a disclaimer.
  • Our marketing department is very happy now we can add promotional banners to all users' emails with a single click
Both products are comparable in terms of concept and features, but the pricing of CodeTwo combined with the option to edit HTML code of the signatures made us go for CodeTwo.

Compared to our previous solution for centrally managing email signatures, CodeTwo was much easier to setup and get started with. Also, setting up the different signature rules was very straight-forward and when making changes to rules and designs, the changes are in effect immediately making the transition from the old to the new product very seamless. When it comes to the actual signatures, we use the "remove empty placeholder" tags for all user properties. By placing these tags in a strategic way, you prevent empty lines in signatures of users that don't have values for these properties.
