Conductor is being used by our content marketing team. Additionally, the content marketing team does keyword research on behalf of the product development team. We rely on organic traffic through our content site to drive visitors to our e-commerce site.

Pros

Audience Intent Explorer really helps us to outrank competing content and find additional topics to pay attention to.
Keyword Visibility helps us report on weekly SEO wins and losses
Conductor had amazing dedicated account specialists that help us think about content or our site in ways we haven't before.

Cons

Conductor is a massive platform so it's hard to fully utilize the data without a full SEO team.
Exporting reports and making it easily digestible for non-SEO employees can be difficult.

Return on Investment

Positive impact: we are able to drive more traffic after discovering new keywords and opportunities on Conductor.
Negative: it is a very time-consuming tool to use. It is also expensive

Support Rating

Everyone I've worked with on the Conductor Support team has been outstanding. Even if they don't have an immediate answer for you, you can guarantee detailed follow-up and oftentimes an answer from someone higher up in the company.

Thank you so much for taking time to review Conductor. It's awesome to hear that you've been able to increase your traffic through keyword discovery; that's what it's all about. And extra points to you and your team for focusing on personas and the buyer's journey! We've seen that the best teams are thinking of their content that way. You are definitely right in saying that the platform is pretty big and that can be intimidating.
