Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Conductor is used by the Marketing organization at 3D Systems. It enables technical, and non-technical, teams to understand the principals of SEO and to enhance our content creation efforts.

Pros

  • Easy access to all KPIs in one location
  • Enables non-technical teams to access, research and understand SEO tactics
  • The Chrome plugin makes competitive insights easy to obtain

Cons

  • Having the tool is not enough, you must educate yourself and ensure your teams are using it (true for any tool)
  • The cost is higher than run-of-the mill tools. You are paying for an Enterprise option. You get what you pay for.
  • The insights allowed us to sell Organic Search to our executive leadership.
  • The custom dashboards allowed us to monitor content creation efforts and return on our investment in content creation
  • Our Organic traffic has improved as a result of using Conductor
