Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

This program allows us to remotely resolve issues without having to roll a tech on site. This saves us valuable time and money. It's also built in to ConnectWise so it's easy to integrate and connect right to our customer's computers.
  • Quickly connects to customer computers without too much trouble from the customer's end.
  • Allows us to control UAC.
  • Allows us to transfer files and remotely reboot and reconnect to their machines without having to start the process over.
  • Sometimes getting control over UAC is cumbersome.
  • Random issues connecting to macs.
  • File transfer could be easier.
  • Increased tech efficiency and decreased time to resolution.
  • Saving money on mileage.
  • Overall profit increasing due to the increase in efficiency.
ScreenConnect has about the same options but it's integrated better with ConnectWise. We used GoToAssist but it got expensive. Since we already have ConnectWise this was a no brainer.
LogMeIn Pro, ConnectWise Control, DxContinuum
ConnectWise Control is good for customers who aren't close. Allows us to connect to multiple customers at the same time allowing us to multi-task. Not always the best option for macs or people having connectivity issues.

ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect) Training

It's a good product and integrates well with ConnectWise. Fairly inexpensive for what it is. If you use connectwise manage, it's a no brainer. Some features could be a bit easier to do. UAC sometimes gets in the way and is a pain to bypass, but once you do, it works well.

It's a good tool and integrates with ConnectWise Manage. Nice control all in one spot. I'd like to see a little easier control and admin access, and some possible integration with controlling mobile devices easier, but overall this is a good product and we'll continue to use it unless something significantly better comes along.

ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect) Reliability

ConnectWise Control is a good tool, and affordable if you already use ConnectWise. Although ever since it was purchased by ConnectWise, the product hasn't been as stable as it has been in the past. There are several occasions where we have no control after connecting, or are just unable to connect at all. I hope they continue to work on it and improve it's reliability. If they do, my score would probably go up in the future.
