Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
Our organisation uses ConnectWise Control to remotely administer/support attended/unattended workstations and servers of our clients.
- Remote administration and support. Very quick and responsive even over slow connections
- Acquire mode, preventing remote controlled PC's from going to sleep or logging out due to idleness.
- Listing and sorting of devices in the 'Access' control panel.
- Provision to create accounts that have limited access to set PC's for contractors.
- Detailed historical audit.
- Very quick and helpful support from ConnectWise support staff.
- Major: Remote chat window needs to overlay all others apps, until minimized, then overlay all others apps again once more text has been received from the remote control staff. Too many times the chat window hides behind the program people are using and they don't notice the bright orange pulsing on the taskbar.
- Minor: Better file copy, maybe resuming, speed indicator etc. Similar to FTP.
- Increased efficiency of technicians through support for multiple sessions.
- Cheaper than the competition, with at least the same feature set if not more features.
We have used just about every remote control software, and found them either wanting or cost a fortune, with some getting you on-board then increase the price. ConnectWise Control has been consistently priced and keep adding features.
