Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
I am using this for support for regular residential and commercial clients in my small business. If I foresee a long relationship with the client, I will run the installer on their machines. I currently have about ten regular clients that I have the software on. I love this software because it saves me a support visit fee and I can click in almost anywhere in the world.
- I love how it always runs in the background. There are never launch issues
- I like the quality settings I can quickly choose.
- I like being able to chat and interact with users through the software.
- I have a few instances on mac where I connect in and its just a black screen and doesn't come back.
- I don't like having incompetent users when it comes to downloading the software for a meeting- but that is more their fault than yours!
- I don't like the awkwardness of remotely shutting down a mac and not being sure if its shutting down or not because of being connected to the software.
- It has saved time and money for me and my clients by not having to drive to them to fix a problem that only takes a few clicks.
- I don't have monstrous fees for the software to worry about. It's very fairly priced.
- For the most part, all my clients can easily login to the site and type in a code or join a meeting.
I have used TeamViewer here and there but I am not in the same business mindset as I am with ConnectWise Control, It's a great product and I still prefer screen connect in comparison to TeamViewer. I think ConnectWise is a lot more user friendly and runs better in the background consistently than TeamViewer.
