Overall Satisfaction with Copper

I utilize Copper CRM for operations for a social media content creation business. We use it to organize all of our brand relationships, track brand deals, and the pipeline stage for each brand deal until completion. Having the value of each deal also allows us to track revenue.

Pros

  • Pipelines
  • Integration with Google Suite
  • Tracking contacts

Cons

  • Integration with other platforms to add contacts like what Folk does
  • A more modern and clean design. It does feel slightly dated
  • Would love to have more integrations with other platforms like Kick, Mercury, etc.
  • Made it a lot easier to keep track of open opportunities to keep on track
  • Made it easier to check up on payments
  • Reduced the need for multiple subscriptions and combined it into one
It is, overall, a really great platform that works well and is mostly intuitive. However, it still looks a bit dated—perhaps an early-2000s design rather than a modern one, which would feel even cleaner and inviting. I hope they can update the design to look a bit better in the future.
I picked Copper because it integrates so easily with Gmail, and the cost was appropriate. HubSpot can become way too expensive over time.

It's simple enough for what you need and complicated enough for more advanced stuff. Some CRMs can be overly complex to the point that you do not end up using it for anything. The work becomes using the CRM rather than the CRM helping you work. Copper CRM allows me to get what I need done more efficiently and I'm not fighting with it to do what I want.
