Overall Satisfaction with D&B Hoovers

In my organization, I utilize this platform primarily for prospecting and list-building. One unique function that would be helpful is if there was a filter to mark that the headquarters of the company was in the geographic location you are searching.

Pros

  • exports contacts
  • plenty of classification styles for segmenting
  • zip code radius

Cons

  • searching by job title
  • suggesting similar companies
  • coding specific contacts or companies
  • easy to build lists
  • easy to export data
we have both platforms and I use them interchangeably. D&B Hoovers is great because I can export more contacts. Zoom info is a bit more strategic with the use of filters like "with intent" and also has a better company overview page. Both are good platforms that can be used daily.

exporting contacts is relatively more budget conscious based on other platforms. Overall, it is a very user friendly platform with basic capabilities. If you want more advanced strategic use like buyer behavior and intent, you need to look elsewhere.
