Overall Satisfaction with D&B Hoovers

D&B Hoovers helps my team gain accurate and actionable data when researching target accounts that we wish to prospect into.

The sales, marketing and research team are primary users for D&B Hoovers.

Pros

  • Allows us to keep our database hygiene with current background info on companies.
  • Allows our teams to quickly build reports to find similar companies to pursue.
  • The ability to look up DUNS information is extremely important.

Cons

  • When searching for a specific company, I would like the most obvious company to appear at the top of the list, (i.e. largest branch, headquarters, etc.)
  • Occasionally I find that when companies are acquired by another, there is a delay in how the family tree is updated. I realize however that there may be time delays due to the legal status of entities.
  • I like the integration with Salesforce, if there was a way to access it via my mobile device as well, that would be great
  • D&B Hoovers has provided insights into competitor activity and company hierarchies, helping us differentiate our offerings and find white space in the market.
  • D&B Hoovers helps both the velocity and quality of our pipeline growth by accelerating lead discovery and qualification, it enables faster pipeline development and higher conversion rates.
  • D&B Hoovers arms our users to improve our account based marketing, helping us identify decision makers and influencers.
Yes, D&B Hoovers provides a deep, reliable dataset giving our teams access to comprehensive firmographic, technographic, and behavioral insights.
D&B Hoovers does a great job of filtering through many data points and keywords when we build new campaign and target lists. D&B Hoovers and LinkedIn checks and balances well together.
D&B Hoovers really provides more in-depth business data and technographic insights, offering a wider scope of company information and more advanced analytical capabilities.

It's great that we can run quick reports and include as much or as little as we want depending on the group's needs. D&B Hoovers also really helps deliver the account intelligence needed to personalize campaigns, identify buying committees, and prioritize key accounts.
