Operations, Sales, Marketing, are all primary users of D&B Hoovers. Opportunities are to track new businesses, stay updated about new companies, divestitures and mergers. Challenges: cant track new companies by year

when the company was established will help a lot
Customer information such as C-Level execs with their phone and email addresses
All platforms are great and help a great deal, but D&B Hoovers is a dedicated space for whitespace and outreach. Also its a trustworthy referral internally at SAP when researching accounts and making GTM decisions.

I am constantly using D&B Hoovers to investigate about companies. I am a business analyst at SAP, and helps me to determine territories, company threshold internally, any disputes between sellers, etc...... It would help tremendously if i had an option to filter by year to identify any new companies as a result of divestiture, spin off, merger, etc....
