Overall Satisfaction with Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room

To receive and pass through information in due diligence services. Normally, services are hired by Target company and organized by them. There is no other usage for Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room services in my Company, due to independence and confidentiality purposes. That is the main usage of Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room in our organization, but not the only.

Pros

  • Data protection
  • Competitive price compared to similar services
  • Opportunity to set up preferences as you like

Cons

  • Data upload alerts - Often received in SPAM
  • Support
  • Speed up download prep in cache
  • There is no direct impact, since we don't make the investments ourselves.
  • Although no direct financial impact are seen, reduced traveling times between us and Target, since most of the documents are disclosed in VDR.
There should be a better way to configure Q&A questions and their display when directly downloaded through an Excel file. The questions and answers seem to be always stacked up, and the visual impact is not good.
There is not really our decision to choose Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room rather than other services provides, since Client / Target hire Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room.

Based on what I have described in earlier questions. As an example, although possible to set up personal alerts for data upload, emails are often received in a SPAM inbox most of the times. However, the "your access to a project has been activated" email goes directly to your principal inbox. So maybe alerts coming from the same email could solve this issue.
