Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We must send employees to different locations throughout the day and Deputy has helped us control arrival and departure times as well as tracking their exact location when necessary. We also require our employees to clock in and clock out at certain facilities, while making sure that it is done personally by each of them. Deputy's Kiosk has helped us do this with the help of a fixed tablet at the workplace, where each employee enters a pin, and a picture of their face is taken and uploaded. Being able to use these systems with almost any phone or tablet is a key aspect of Deputy's solutions as we do not have to deal with a provider's specific hardware that increases costs and limits [independence].

  • It's flexible, allowing you to adapt their platform to your specific needs.
  • A better understanding of the main sectors it serves and its specific needs would allow it to develop new modules or increase the flexibility of its platform.
  • I hope that rolling out new versions of their software [does] not make older hardware obsolete, as this would be a huge problem.

It delivers what it promises and has a lot of potential for further functionalities, integrations, and optimization.
Like with any platform, before rolling it out and starting a full implementation, you need to have a clear understanding of your processes and your operation in general. Deputy is quite simple to use and the platform is intuitive, however, it is always best to run pilots before making a full implementation as it would help you identify how the platform needs to be tweaked to satisfy your specific needs and what features may be used or discarded.
Deputy can be most helpful [in] scenarios where there are many employees to be controlled in terms of time and locations. It can also be helpful for centralizing many essential HR processes and when a rota/roster needs to be updated periodically. Being able to overview the distribution of your clients on a map, your whole operation on a calendar, and many useful reports is also quite helpful for decision making and optimization.
