Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
Deputy is used as our platform for distributing rosters and for collecting timesheets for integration with our payroll software in our accounting suite. It is also the platform we use for all communication among the staff body. Deputy has solved the problems of accurately managing and tracking staff hours and mitigates errors in manual timesheet logging.

It’s a very strong product, but loses a couple of points due to some elements of the platform being slightly less than intuitive, and the limited functionality available for its News Feed. If it had a fully-fledged communication tool, I would score it a nine or 10. Overall, however, it’s very usable from both an administrator’s and an end user’s point of view.
Deputy is generally well suited to the needs of my business. It performs very well as our method of scheduling staff and managing staff hours thanks to the rich array of data it pulls from our point of sale and, in turn, feeds to our accounting software. It could improve the ‘News Feed’ functionality to make it more rich to compete with platforms such as Slack. It would be nice to be able to use one single platform/app for both scheduling and communication.
