Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We use Deputy as our sole log in product for employees. We also use several other functions such as recording time off. We like it most to accurately equate time for payroll and for use with our off season bonus program.

Pros

  • Weekly, monthly and annual timekeeping.
  • Historical purpose data from the current and past years.
  • Scheduling tool.
  • Communication tool between management and staff.

Cons

  • Could not marry it to our Paychex payroll system.
  • It has certainly made our payroll process much more streamlined.

It is a helpful tool. We probably do not use it to its full ability.
We had a number of hiccups setting it up and the inability to speak to a person was frustrating but we got it up and running successfully.
Our technicians use Deputy to log in each day. Our employees also communicate time needed off. The best use of the tool is for our weekly payroll. We don't link it with our QuickBooks system, but I believe that the capability is available.
