Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

rostering & time attendance
  • Rostering simple enough
  • Time attendance
  • follow up on unfinished time sheets with employee
  • Ease of uploading awards
  • HR
  • ability to record expiry of employee required training
  • it is simple to use for the managers, takes minimal time to do rosters
  • its not so easy to use for reporting & budgeting, is only friendly to the IT or those with time
  • I find it all a bit clunky to use for the purpose of awards etc
  • Humanforce (formerly TimeTarget)
I used TimeTarget which was very simple for budgeting & forecasting, however Deputy is a lot more modern feel than using TT. I liked that TimeTarget I could record things like when RSA's are due for renewal & had the reminders when rostering staff, took care of all that follow up.

If you are only looking for rostering & time attendance, it would suit most businesses. Once your employee count increases & there is a requirement for HR management, it doesnt support the needs of the business. So would depend on business size
for ourselves it covers just the time attendance & rostering, I think for a company our size without a HR department we need a focus on that side as well
