Overall Satisfaction with DiscoverOrg
We use DiscoverOrg primarily in the sales and marketing departments, but others contact us if/when they need information about a company that can be found on DiscoverOrg. So while it benefits sales and marketing the most, its benefits are definitely starting to bleed into other areas of our business. For us, DiscoverOrg helps us find contacts at prospective customers, allows us to double check that contact information we have on a prospect or company is still valid, shows us what companies are currently looking for our specific set of services and helps us find similar companies to prospect into.
- Advanced Boolean searches across all aspects - contacts, companies, triggers, etc. This is extremely helpful in narrowing searches and finding the information for which you're searching.
- Simple and fast to see the org chart and know who to contact.
- Ability to verify information about a company and its employees.
- Update/add companies and contacts quicker when requested.
- Alerts and Triggers area could be simplified in terms of functionality; it can be somewhat confusing until you're used to the quirks.
- A mobile app would be very useful!

- RainKing (acquired by DiscoverOrg) and Data.com
We have found that DiscoverOrg's data is significantly more accurate and robust than Data.com, having used that in the past. DiscoverOrg's database has helped us really clean up the data we had. We chose DiscoverOrg over RainKing for 2017 when we switched away from Data.com due to pricing and data availability in the areas we needed.
