Overall Satisfaction with DiscoverOrg
DiscoverOrg is being used predominantly by the Sales Development team. Currently the problem it is addressing is gathering information for prospecting both on an individual and company level.
- Large database of companies
- Geographic filtering
- Pretty solid contact information
- I find that with enterprise level companies I need to cross reference contacts as often times they tend to change roles/jobs more often.
- If the data is bad, it doesn't get removed.
- Integration with Outreach would be fantastic
- I have been able to reach more net new prospects because of the tool. So I'd say there is ROI impact that is yet to be tied back to the tool.
- Not helpful when the right persona isn't found in data set.
- RainKing (acquired by DiscoverOrg) and ZoomInfo
I think that since the acquisition of RainKing, DiscoverOrg is the top tool in the marketplace. Having the most, accurate data set will always reign supreme, and now adding 2 of the top 3 together gives DiscoverOrg users the advantage.
