Information and Data the Domo way
Overall Satisfaction with Domo
Domo has been an integral part of our attempt to manage multiple software applications. Because of the diversity of the platforms we use, Domo has helped us bring the information together in a usable form. We have faced considerable challenges implementing the system. But have found that it usually was one of the other platforms that was causing the issue.
Pros
- Helps us spread information to different teams.
- Connects multiple platforms.
Cons
- Complexities of linking applications together.
- Hard to customize for specific needs.
- A valuable key in identifying factors to reduce churn.
- Helps in finding more effective ways to allocate resources to the most effective solutions.
I wasn't personally involved with the selection of Domo as compared to other solutions. I am aware that the close proximity of the company to us gave them opportunities to be more personal in their presentation. Tableau was probably our second choice. But the customer service was the last key to us choosing Domo.

They were willing to take enough time to convince us that they not only had a great solution for us, but they cared about our success. They are located close to us and gave us reassurance that they would support our needs and success. At times we found issues and they tried to help even when it turned out that another platform was the problem.
After working through the implementation of the system, it would be difficult to get any of our key staff to get excited about changing it, even if there was something better out there. There is so much involved with tweaking various platforms, that it again would be difficult. If we were to change the process, it would come down to best product combined with the easiest implementation system.
