Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
Dropbox is used mostly to manage our client documents and make sure everyone on our team has visibility and oversight in the receival and confirmation of the documents. It allows a centralized repository that is private and access controlled to maintain an extra level of security for our confidential documents. It is used by the management team for the most part and keeps everything organized.
- Desktop app to connect back to cloud experience
- Organizational hierarchy that is very clear
- Easy access management to assign to team
- No audit log that I have found for end users
- Training or quick start guides
- Ensuring sync between desktop/cloud
- Saves time without having to deal with versioning and updates to documents
- Makes PMO group's lives easier
Dropbox and SharePoint have some similar functionalities, but our company went with Dropbox due to lower costs and not wanting to purchase or maintain the whole MS suite.
