Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We store files for collaboration on Dropbox for easy access by multiple departments. Design, audio, video and text files are all stored there. Dropbox also allows us to share these links securely to those outside our organization, which is helpful since we often use outside vendors for creative projects. We use Dropbox every day.
- I can store large files.
- Sharing of files with different permissions to disparate groups.
- The UI is great and constantly improving - the latest update for quick folder access was much needed.
- I’d like to more easily see a log of what was shared to whom.
- Upload speeds can be slow sometimes.
- I’d like the first screen to be more visually interesting.
- Saves time b/c we know where all the files reside.
- Ensures no duplicate work.
- Allows better collaboration.

Dropbox is superior to Box in that Box is slow and in order to allow collaboration you must manually add EACH person that you want to be allowed to access the document for editing — that is a huge hassle when you have large teams and people are constantly getting added to projects.
