Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use [Dropbox] in conjunction with SharePoint. We create folders with external clients and with other departments within the company where Draft documents, resources and Final documents can be uploaded and shared. It allows us to work remotely and still collaborate with other team members and other departments within the company.
  • Quick Start up, simply create account and can start using
  • Allows multiple folders and subfolders to organize documents
  • Can be shared with anyone, they just have to make a free Dropbox account.
  • Only available in the Cloud, so security is sometimes a concern
  • Sometimes sharing the link with another member doesn't work
  • Improved client satisfaction with the speed we can get reports to them
  • External and internal satisfaction with collaboration while working remote
Easier to start up and use for external clients. SharePoint is much more complex so start up can sometimes take multiple days to get ready to use. Dropbox is simple so works well for just sharing Draft and Final reports.
