Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Dropbox is a wonderful tool we use for hosting images and pdfs. We also sometimes use it for sharing assets with our clients. We have several clients who primarily use Dropbox for their Asset Management, so we have become very familiar with how it all works.
  • Image and PDF hosting
  • Asset Management
  • Internal assistance tools
  • If you don't know where to go, it's hard to get a image/pdf URL that you can use for hosting
  • Sharing management doesn't seem to be as intuitive
  • Dropbox hasn't added any value that other asset management softwares haven't
We've used all of this software, and we are actively using it, but it really depends on our client's preferences. Overall, I would say I prefer Google Drive the most, but that is largely in part to us using it internally.

Do you think Dropbox delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dropbox's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Dropbox go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox again?

Yes

Dropbox is great in general for anything and everything. It's an amazing asset management software. The versatility is great and I think it always gets the job done. If you're looking for just photo storage, then I would likely recommend a different service that is more affordable and better suited for only photos.
