Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Dropbox as my main backup method for all of my files. I use 3 different laptops throughout the day and when I travel, and Dropbox helps me to keep all of my files synced, no matter which device I am using. I also have it on my phone so I am able to access any file at any point in time even if I'm not in front of my computer.

The online-only/available offline toggles often don't work
I'm not able to keep 2 separate Dropbox account folders on my computer simultaneously
When I try to share files with other users it prompts them to pay for more space or create an account

I use it for both businesses and it has been helpful for me personally.

Alternatives Considered

I like being able to work on my files in local programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and not have to deal with the Docs interface

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for file backups and accessing across multiple devices. Not great for sharing files or collaborating with teammates, as you can't be working on shared docs simultaneously, and there are a lot of issues wit syncing and Dropbox asking colleagues to pay money when trying to access a file.
