Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use it to store our customer's information and to share documents with our team. It addresses the problem of miscommunication and conflicting documents and makes sure that the whole team is able to access the same information. It keeps everything in one place so that we can all access it from our own devices whenever we need.

Pros

  • Shares information
  • Communicates with team members
  • Keeps documents organized
  • Allows us to track our progress
  • Provides a place for confidential information

Cons

  • Lagg times
  • When a document isn't saved automatically
  • Accessibility of documents, don't always appear in search bar
  • Dropbox has allowed us to communicate over various states in the US.
  • Dropbox has allowed me to organize hundreds of books and series.
  • Dropbox is a reliable place to store confidential information.
Dropbox allows for instant sharing of documents, where as documents in Google Drive need to be shared individually. I do feel that Google Drive is more reliable in that it saves automatically at times when Dropbox seems to create conflicting copies. I feel that Google Drive is more accessible for sharing photos and videos.

Do you think Dropbox delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dropbox's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Dropbox go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Dropbox again?

Yes

Dropbox is best suited for companies where employees work from different locations or where you want to condense information into one place. It is less appropriate for situations where multiple people are working on the same document at once, as sometimes this can create conflicting copies of the same document. For sharing information and organizing it, Dropbox is great for remote teams and communication between them.
