Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use Dropbox to sort all of our job and admin files. We also collaborate using Microsoft office products. We are a remote team and Dropbox allows us to efficiently work together by providing feedback when there are unsaved changes or updates. We are constantly having more than one person work on a file and so this feature is a great benefit.

Cons

  • Sometimes there is a lag in files updating.
  • Being able to use multiple accounts per device.
  • Live file updates when more than one use is editing a Microsoft Office file.
  • Dropbox has had a positive impact on our remote work.

Dropbox is well suited for simple file structures and light collaborative use. I would recommend to teams of less than 30 people. Once the file structures become too complex it seem Drobox starts to have major issues. Once a team is over 30 people I would suspect this issue to be more of a problem.
