Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use it primarily for sharing media files. It allows us to catalogue our large amount of video footage efficiently.

Pros

  • file architecture
  • ease of login
  • ease of targeted file sharing

Cons

  • honestly we like it how it is
  • it would be cool if there were an integration with Wordpress
  • or maybe there is but we don't know?
  • It's saved us money by saving us time
  • It's allowed us to share press conference footage directly with reporters
  • It's made it easy for interns to pull photos for publications

Less appropriate for low intensity text files like memos--it's kind of overkill.

Also less appropriate for files with very short shelf-life because we forget where we put them.
