Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use it to store all of our documents from client facing to internal. We need something that has both desktop and cloud storage so we can choose what to download. We also use the feature of permissions, as not everyone needs to see everything.

Pros

  • Mac integration (very native)
  • Herarchy of info when creating folders etc.
  • Link generation

Cons

  • Creating links that take me to the web and not my mac location
  • positive in the sense that we can store everything we produce for our clients, we then send the files to them, it eliminated the need (and cost) to have a USB sent to the office for us to send it back.
We have been using Dropbox for years and is already a part of our day to day. However, we pay Google business and have considered switching.

I can use it from my phone. We do research and I take pictures of the places we observe, I upload them right away and delete them from my phone as soon as they are done uploading. Super native on my laptop.
