Difficulties with reducing Dropbox licences
Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We had ongoing difficulties with reducing Dropbox licences for one of our clients. Over the last three months, we have taken every necessary step, including giving notice and following Dropbox's cancellation protocol, yet we continue to receive charges. In the first month, we accepted that notice was required. The second month, however, presented a new hurdle with a restricted cancellation timeframe. After confirming with your team that all requirements were met to stop the licences, we find ourselves invoiced again this month. So far, these efforts have cost us close to $3,000 in non-billable expenses. Given that we’ve diligently followed all procedures, this situation is not only frustrating but also unsustainable. Between Dropbox and Ingram Micro this was a very frustrating process. Onother issue we had was that there is no easy way to migrate clients using dropbox into our portal as a MSP so much easier to just link them in to SharePoint or Google drive
Pros
- Billing
- Sales Calls
- Sync of data acros network
Cons
- Migrations
- Licence chnages
- Contact support
- Cost us newarly 3K in chnaging plans - Negative
Faster sync with Dropbox but account amangement easier with the rest and a lot cheaer to run so better ROI and easier for an MSP to use. As we're a reseller our experience with dropbox was not great from migrations to us or even maanging this
