Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Dropbox is my cloud, keeping all my work secure and accessible from any device, even my phone. It's easy to use, has great features, and most importantly, it backs up my work automatically so that I can sleep better at nights. It's my second paid year and I still consider it money well spent.

Pros

  • Accessibility, the fact that I can access my files from anywhere, without fuss.
  • I love that it has a desktop app that looks exactly like Explorer and I don't have to learn a new workflow.
  • It backs up my files and I can recover them if something happens.
  • I like the extra features, like the papers, the fact that it can read ebook files and other great stuff.

Cons

  • The pdf export of the papers sometimes takes too long or it freezes.
  • I would love to have more opportunity to combine my options for the plan, like instead of family plan, have more Terra space, or other benefits.
  • Better visualisation of the folder tree in the Web or Phone versions.
Because Dropbox has everything I need in one place and I feel secure that my data is backed-up and accessible on a whim. Before using Dropbox I had two instances of HDD malfunctioning and losing data. Once I was able to recover it, but the second time I lost months of work. Not anymore.
Better space and cost balance.

Perfect for keeping your files close and secure. It has a lot of visualising capabilities, for various types of files. Ilove that in the papers you can also add media files like mp3 or video. A bit difficult to navigate in the web and phone versions because you don't see the folder structure very well. I would love to see a mindmap function.
