Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Syncing files between different machines, especially when working remotely -- particularly for desktop, laptop and the mobile (via the web). This enable an uninterrupted workflow as the sync is fast and seamless. Files can also be shared externally with other stakeholders. When collaborating with others, the logs do make it useful and to track changes.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sync is much faster and more efficient than competitors (Google Drive).
Program runs well, where it is reliable on startup (for example with macros).
Interface is simple and easy to use.

Cons

Not being able to renew earlier is not ideal given organization financial cycle.
For certain programs, the Dropbox circle can be annoying.
When plugging in device, the syncing request can be a hit or miss in recognizing devices.

Return on Investment

Price is on the higher side, but the frustrating thing is that there is no option to purchase / extend subscription earlier than the expiry date which makes it a challenge for finance.
