Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Document storage for internal development, operations and public access. We needed a simple to use document management system and found that nearly all can use Dropbox with relative ease.

Pros

  • Versioning
  • Archive
  • Web site referencing

Cons

  • Windows access feels clunky - Mac is great.
  • Wish there was a view-only upload option that doesn’t open any of the ‘editing’ options
  • Allowed strategic collaboration during regulatory approval
  • Enabled quick web presence and fuss-free upkeep
It’s great on a Mac or iPhone with the app - Windows access is not great but usable
Dropbox is way more friendly, especially for collaboration. It also doesn’t often mangle formatting
