Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I use Dropbox extensively to move .pdf files from my laptop to my tablet for inspections. I’m able to write notes on the .pdf files on the tablet. I also access client documents for estimating guidelines and other pertinent client information.
Pros
- Creation of file folders
- Accessing Dropbox across various platforms.
- Ease of use
Cons
- There was once an app that was on my laptop, it went away and only now opens a file folder under Dropbox.
- I have issues in with files showing up correctly or at all when I use the file folder directly on the laptop and now have to sign into the online website for the platform to perform as expected.
- Need to rework the platform for desktops to have a desktop app rather than just a file folder showing on the computer.
- Ease of storing and accessing files for inspections. Nearly daily usage.
- Ease of creating and sharing folders for collaboration with colleagues.
I haven’t used any other platforms as Dropbox has done everything I’ve needed since I began using it. I have no need to try another platform.
