Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

I use Dropbox to electronically store client files. It assists be in not having to maintain physical files or have to print things out. I am an attorney and it is an efficient way to stay organized and there are so many useful features in one place.

Pros

  • Easy to nativigate
  • Accessible on many platforms
  • Useful in program features such as scanning if using the app
  • Great organizational utility
  • Facilitates quick and efficient sharing capabilities

Cons

  • Cleaner home page- list different in program functions versus files
  • File and home page reflect the same information
  • When a file is opened it opens in a new window not in the same so you have to use the back feature.
  • Cuts print costs, I am an attorney and it saves me a lot of money not having to print things to a file.
  • Relieves storage costs, as an attorney I have to maintain files for 5 years and Dropbox enables me to have to store less physical files.
  • Cuts costs on needing additional programs.
Dropbox is user friendly. I have never had an issue navigating it or any of the features. Sharing files is simple, there are multiple ways to share files such as a link or attaching a document to an email. I like the accessibility, I have it linked to my phone and home computer. I am able to save anything to Dropbox from anywhere.
It is frustrating to have to use a separate program

Overall the program is easy to navigate and has a lot of features so you do not have to have multiple programs.

I do not like that the documents do not open in a separate window and I do not like that the features such as docsend are not on home page instead.
