Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business

Dropbox Business is used across our organization to manage large files and work collaboratively on projects. It allows those with access to easily find and use files and Dropbox's SmartSync feature allows us to download only the files we need, saving valuable hard drive space. We use this as our central hub for all media-related projects.

  • Background syncing of files other users are adding can slow down computer
  • Can be confusing to link and break existing accounts when converting them to a business account

  • The ability to add or remove the number of user seats monthly allows us to add only the seats that we need and work flexibly
We tried out a variety of competitors and Dropbox Business was the fastest tool we could find for large file uploads and downloads. And not only that, it was one of the most affordable tools as well. For us, it was an obvious choice and has been an integral part of our workflow.
I find Dropbox Business particularly well suited as a media and file management tool for growing teams that have large files that need to be accessed by team members that may work out of different offices or remotely. It is a key tool for internal collaboration as well as sharing with external partners and collaborators. I would imagine it is not as helpful for less collaborative teams.
