Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign
We use it in the hiring process to send applications and relevant paperwork to applicants. Most people no longer have printers at home, and using Dropbox Sign removes an obstacle to getting documents completed and returned in a timely manner. We also use it to send updated documents to clients and employees whenever an amendment is made to an original agreement.
Pros
- Notification of status of document sent (opened, reviewed, completed etc).
- Sending reminders of pending documents.
- Ability to create and use templates for standard documents.
Cons
- Make it easier to identify to signers any required fields that were missed and are causing an error.
- Make text box numbers invisible to signers.
- Cost savings - less expensive than other options.
- Less paperwork.
- Less time spent during the hiring process.

Evaluating Dropbox Sign and Competitors
Yes - DocuSign. They wanted to double the price of subscriptions based on the number of documents (job applications) we sent out. It was a bad return on investment because they charge per send, whether or not those sends yielded results.

The price could not be beaten by the competition, and I received feedback from a current user who testified that it was good value for money and delivered as promised. Being a small business with limited resources, this is exactly what we need, and it meets the intended purpose and provides what we need it for.
I wouldn't.
