Dynamic Yield serves as our e-commerce team's experimentation and personalization tool. We use the tool extensively for product recommendations, A/B testing, and personalized onsite experiences.

Usability

The tool is very intuitive, especially when compared to some other competitors. Reporting is the only area where I would like to see more of an emphasis.

Alternatives Considered

Bloomreach Composable Personalization Cloud, Convert Experiences and VWO

While each of the other platforms may have certain features or aspects that are stronger than Dynamic Yield, Dynamic Yield is certainly the best platform I've used of the ones listed. The ability to do both experimentation and personalization in one platform (and to have a tool that allows both to be done well) is a significant advantage.

Dynamic Yield is a great tool to house all experimentation and personalization efforts, especially for a Shopify ecommerce brand. It has templates for beginners, but also allows for full customizability for those with front end development experience. I really like that they have a focused roadmap - they are not trying to be an all-in-one tool like some competitors. They focus on personalization and experimentation.
