Overall Satisfaction with Epicor ERP

Epicor is being used as an ERP solution to manage and handle incoming and outgoing orders of machinery, parts, and production. It is mainly used by our customer service and production teams as a way to manage inventory and orders.

Epicor ERP lacks some of the main functions that a software like Salesforce offers. The main difference is the ERP versus the cloud of marketing and sales benefits you get with Salesforce. Epicor is great for an ERP, but lacks in marketing and sales.
For me as a marketing manager, I am not able to use Epicor ERP to its fullest capability. It works well with our production and equipment management as far as orders are concerned, but there is not much for marketing or customer relationship management, which would be nice--to tie sales and production together.
