Overall Satisfaction with Evernote
Evernote is used as a "notes" application, enables us to write advanced notes (not only text, but also reminders, images or files) and share and discuss notes with other users. It actually enables us to manage all the notes and never lose them :-). One advantage is that there is a web application that can be accessed from the PC when you need to order all the notes (it's easier doing it in the computer).
Pros
- Easy to take notes
- Good search
- Can access notes both from the phone and the computer
- Advanced note (image, handwriting, etc.)
- Share and discuss notes
Cons
- The free application's feature will meet most users needs, but the Premium plan is expensive.
- Though Evernote lets you create and manage notes effortlessly, its basic plan supports sync between two devices and does not support offline mode.
- Can't export data easily to other applications.
- Easy to use
- Different "types" of notes
- Sharing and discussing notes
- Increase work efficiency by collecting all of the notes in one place.
- Enables you to take a note for someone else, and share it with [them].
- Helps to manage the "not managed" issues - if you're looking at the note of all the employees work on a specific project, you might have some insights. You probably won't have it without aggregating all of the note related to this project.
- Google Keep and OneNote
Microsoft OneNote is very similar to Evernote, and I think that the free version of OneNote is even better, but the users in our company preferred to use Evernote. You might check if Microsoft OneNote free version is good enough for your needs, it might save you some money.
Google Keep is also a nice solution, it is more basic, but it works good. If you need a personal note-taking application you should consider it as well.
