Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime

ExakTime works well for our employees in the field. They only need to remember their 4-digit code to punch in and out. It takes their photo to prevent buddy punching and asks them custom questions like, "Did you take all of your breaks today?" It shows the location of where they punch (vs the job they punched into). They recently added a "meal break" button, which is nice to punch out and back in for the main lunch break without having to take photos and answer questions. It also syncs with Sage 100 Contractor. It is a manual task but works easily.

  • Employee Message upon login (not extra cost) ie "Don't forget to..."
  • Improved payroll accuracy.
  • Time savings on filling out timesheets manually.
  • More detailed job costing.
We utilize the geolocation and photo ID with our company Android phones that we have with each Forman.
It is very easy for the crew and the office to adjust items if they forget to punch.

It is great for field workers who are always out and about, and you want to track their time on each project. It wouldn't be helpful if you don't track time by job.
