Exclaimer Cloud - Signatures for Office 365

Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer

We are currently in a Hybrid environment where our Exchange server is still on-premise. Unfortunately, Microsoft only supports this feature for customers who are in a full Office 365 environment. We did previously utilize a tool from CodeTwo, however it has the same limitations as Microsoft's offering.

Exlaimer has allowed us to mass deploy email signatures to all our staff and manages to do so in our hybrid environment. Not only that, but it allows email signatures to be sent on all emails including from mobile devices. This is helpful as not all users use the same phones, some users have Androids, while others have iPhones. We also don't have a standard email client on mobile devices, so it saves us a lot of time from configurating each individual mobile device.

Lastly, this helps all the users who still prefer to use Outlook Web App instead of Outlook on Desktop. In summation this allows us to set up a strict standard for signatures without the need to configure anything on any devices outside of the initial sync client.
  • Adds signatures to all emails
  • Integrates with Hybrid environments
  • Quickly sync with Azure Active Directory
  • Customer Support
  • Lightweight
  • I do prefer the old layout instead of their new one
  • Have a guided setup as things can go wrong during initial set up
  • Time saved by simplifying email signature management
  • Turned email signatures into a marketing tool
  • Increased professionalism and image of company
We have configured different templates for different departments. That has been very helpful as we can tailor the signature to better match that department's personality.

We do utilize the feature that disables the signature when it detects one, as well as the feature to disable the signature during auto-replies.

We have not utilized their scheduling feature as we do not feel like that is needed in our organization.
From what we can see on our end, Exclaimer does seem to be secure. During the initial set up I did not experience any sort of red flags for security. One part of the setup requires you to allow access to your Azure environment, and it is made very clear that once it has been completed you should manually remove the access. I do appreciate that they go over that, but I can also see some users ignoring or skipping that step.

Outside of that, I can't say I have a hard stance on their data security.
CodeTwo just did not work for our environment. We used their products previously and they worked great, however they were products for old 2003 Exchange servers. Once we upgraded, the only way to fully utilize their tools was to be 100% on Office 365 and Hybrid was not an option.

Drift did work and we liked what we were able to test, however the licensing costs were significantly more expensive, and we did not feel like it was worth it.

Do you think Exclaimer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Exclaimer's feature set?

Yes

Did Exclaimer live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Exclaimer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Exclaimer again?

Yes

If you are looking for an easy cloud base solution that is relatively inexpensive Exclaimer is for you. For anyone in a full O365 environment, Exclaimer will easily integrate with it and I believe it has a better feature set than what Microsoft currently provides. While Microsoft's offering would be free as it is included, Exclaimer just does it better.

If you are in a Hybrid environment like myself, this seems to be the only tool that works consistently. You won't be able to leverage tools from Microsoft or other tools such as CodeTwo, whereas Exclaimer just works.

If you are solely on-prem, this tool will not work. You do need to have an Azure Active Directory to take advantage of this system meaning at minimum you will need to be in a Hybrid environment.
