Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

We implemented Expensify last year in our organisation.
We had a very manual process that was very time consuming for the whole team. WE wanted to have something easy to track on the go and that could be easily adjusted to our needs as well as having strong reporting capabilities, and Expensify ticked all the boxes, as well as a very competitive market price.

Pros

  • Account management and concierge service
  • Easy usage which makes it easy and quick to implement
  • Straight forward process
  • Admin rights super helpful to help with everything

Cons

  • The Expensify credit cards are still not live outside the US
  • We have reduced the time investment of the team on expenses by 60%
It has ticked all the boxes for the business needs we had.
We don't do cash expenses, so analyse your needs and your budget, for us it worked perfectly fine.
For us the deal was with the cost per user. We are a small company with a tight budget and basic expense management needs, so although there are plenty of tools in the market for expense management, it was way over our budget. I needed also to be able to implement it and manage it as a one-human show, so needed to make sure it was easy to understand and customise.

It has been a hand-holding experience from the beginning.
As admin I was given all the power the customise the portal for our company, I was explained everything in detailed, had all my questions answered until everything was running smooth.
I didn't use any integration with a finance/accounting system so I can't give feedback on that front.
We did though, connect the corporate credit card feeds to Expensify, so all expenses go straight to the portal, which it's great help for everyone.
