Overall Satisfaction with Gong
Sales and Conversational Intelligence, Meeting minute/note-taking automation — Our company relies on Gong to save all sales/customer meetings in a secure database. Gong scrapes audio/video from each call to summarize and provide insights for the sellers using machine learning. Gong integrates between our Dialer, Conferencing, Communication, and CRM platforms.

- Gong's LLM is not perfect when it comes to summarization, maybe 95% of all data that goes through gong is summarized effectively and is reliable.
- As a long term feature, Gong can leverage data beyond just conversations by using data within a company's CRM.
- There is an opportunity to use RAG, maybe the ability to securely gather internal data for Gong's software to learn about the product and provide unique info or selling points beyond basic selling skills.
- Greater alignment between Sales ICs and Sales management
- Saved time on note taking and reviewing calls.
90% effective on summarization, haven't leveraged actionable insights from Gong enough, perhaps that can be room for improvement from Gong's CS teams if this is a feature that can be used.
It has not at least from my experiences. I have not leverage a feature that gives insights to trends.
