Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use it for our Go-To-Market teams. We have it integrated with Zoom, so it processes all calls. It's beneficial for managers to review calls for roles such as BDR/SDR and Account Executives. I have received a lot of positive feedback from sales leaders who consider Gong an essential tool for their functions.

  • Continuous growth of AI features to be added.
  • Allows for a scalable BDR team with less BDR managers.

For what it advertises it should be doing, Gong is serving exactly that need. It's fairly self-service, and managers can access the platform to search for the team members they need to review. This also provides a seamless way to track items and maintain records of these calls without requiring manual triggers.
Gong.io has been able to provide valuable insights by automatically recording and noting key items discussed during calls. As our organization grows, it's great to use a tool designed to help sales leadership remain scalable. I think there's always room for improvement with AI insights, but so far, it's solving a need.
Yes, with the stats and summaries Gong can provide, it helps to build that training and debrief on what is working and what is not. Combined with its relative ease of use, it made it easier for teams to adopt and utilize it to provide those insights.

Gong is great for situations where a new hire has just joined and the manager wants to check on the calls to provide feedback as they onboard. It's also great if there are some super-star sales reps, and the team wants to learn more about how to structure their conversation, the insights from Gong would be helpful. However, this isn't great for tracking more personal discussions at times.
