Overall Satisfaction with Gong

Gong records all our meetings, phone calls, emails and compiles all that data by company so you can easily go back and review it. With all the calls we deal with everyday, it can be easy to forget who said what or what exactly a customers issue was. With Gong you can easily rewatch a meeting and even search the transcription for exactly what you are needing.

Pros

  • Allows others to view and comment, helping to strengthen sales activity

Cons

  • Sometimes companies get mixed up and you end up with some that you weren't looking for
  • sometimes words are not transcribed perfectly so the search function can become useless
  • Some calls get automatically and some not
  • Huge time savings in seeing if a company has already been contacted for a specific product
  • Helps to get on the same page as the rest of the team without having to have a full on review meeting
  • Keeps customer issues top of mind so when you have another meeting with them, it feels like you had just met with them yesterday, even if it has been months.
Gong is very easy to use and navigate. You can easily search for companies or key words to see if and when they had spoken about a particular detail.
Yes Gong has enabled us to learn more about our customer without having to actually contact them. This way when we do reach out, we sound polished and can tailor our messaging to be more specific to that particular customer.
You can search for specific key words or phrases to see how often they are coming up and how many different companies may be experiencing similar things.

We use it every day to record every interaction we have. At first it sounds intrusive but it really has been a great help in organizing your daily activities and allowing you to review previous calls so you never miss a detail. It has helped me to remember small details that may have otherwise been lost. It also makes it easy to send recording to customers so they can share with their team.
