Overall Satisfaction with Google Ads (formerly AdWords)
We use Google Ads to drive more traffic to our website. Our marketing department mainly uses Google ads but the analytics team uses it for reference. It addresses our problem of growing our user-base and increasing traffic to the website.
Pros
- Google Ads does SEO very well.
- The user interface is pretty simple and easy to figure out
- Has great reach.
Cons
- Can be pretty expensive for smaller firms
- Dashboard views sometimes have issues
- We had some issues with customer service
- Easy to use
- Keyword tools
- Dashboard view
- Increased traffic to website
- More insight into target audience
Facebook can be less expensive but everyone uses Google, so you have to run ads on Google. Other search engines also have similar features. The traffic on Google is significantly higher than its competition. Facebook ads can be an alternative but it doesn't quite work like a search engine marketing tool.

Using Google Ads (formerly AdWords)
3 - Three people in my organization use Google Ads. Two of them are in the marketing department and use Google Ads for running ad campaigns for our products. One of them is in the analytics department and uses the data generated from running the ads to optimize future ad campaigns.
1 - You will need someone who is knowledgeable about marketing to support Google Ads. They will also need to be comfortable with technology and is able to learn and adapt to new technology quickly.
