One of the best forms of advertising online
Overall Satisfaction with Google Ads (formerly AdWords)
It allows us to advertise to people based on what they are searching for at that moment. There are also tools to create an informed campaign like Keyword Planner and estimates based on what type of campaign. Lastly, it's pretty versatile as it covers Google Search ads, Google Display (and the partner network), and YouTube.
Pros
- Relevant ads upon search
- Audience targeting
- Keyword research
- Ad campaign versatility
Cons
- Keyword tool could be better
- Traffic estimates
- How it works (with competitor ads)
- Where it shows up (SERP, partner networks, video, etc.)
- Tracking
- Positive for recruiting (not sharing numbers)
- Positive for getting new clients (not sharing numbers)
- Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads)
In most cases, it's better between features, usability, performance (though Bing can sometimes cost less). Google is also smarter about its keywords. Bing is more similar to how Google was five or more years ago (needing to add variations to those keywords). I will say, though, Bing's tool is still pretty good, and it constantly changes (often times right after Google makes an update).
