Overall Satisfaction with Google Chat

Google Chat is one of the best tools we use in the organization as it is very simple to use. You just need an internet connection, no downloads are required and it does not have restrictions on the operating system you are using. The only issue with Google Chat is that the chat can jump from time time to time therefore it would be good if they can fix it.
  • You do not need an account with Google Chat you only need an account with Google.
  • Technical support is excellent.
  • There are many videos that explains how to use it.
  • There is no limitation to the number of people to join the chat.
  • You can have private rooms for chatting.
  • You can visualize your chat with a video link.
  • Issues sometimes when loading chats. Needs to be fixed.
  • If Google is down then everything is down.
  • We managed to make daily remote meetings using this application which resulted in increasing profit.
  • We could communicate with people who has internet only without telephone lines. Also increase in sales.
  • We managed to perform morning late meetings using this application and used it for free for sometime which saved some cost.
You do not need to download anything when using Google Chat yet in Webex sometimes it does only work if you download a file. This is similar to Skype where you need to have the application on your computer. Google Chat has added a lot with the great support they have online.

Google Chat is well supported by the company. It is very simple to use. Used it without any downloads. You can use it for free as well at times. Google Chat is good for medium to small sized companies where you just need an internet connection to connect with your team. It is very simple also to use it from your mobile phone.

500 - Sales department, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance and Administration. Moreover this is more used by top management when meeting with unit heads and regional managers in different countries.

It is also used when calling clients outside of the company and it is used for remote chats and file sharing / downloading with different staff.
20 - Staff working for the Information Technology department in different locations and others were trained in certain departments where there are technical professionals to support.

  • Remote meetings for areas with no telecom.
  • International meetings with clients.
  • Discussing deals with partners.
  • Discussing the annual plan and budget for the organization.
  • Interviews with new staff members.
  • It could work as an online support environment for Sales.
  • It could be used as a support environment for computer issues and technical issues.
The updates, support, general reviews on Google Chat are great everywhere. The development of the features is ongoing and this adds a great value to Google as a big company in the market. Other applications are limiting communication while Google Chat is allowing communication to grow. It is very easy to use it and teach others how to use Google Chat.
