Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Drive was not being used by the whole organization, only the Information Technology department used it. It gave us the ability to easily store and access documents, spreadsheets, images, from any device, from anywhere you were. Working collaboratively is great. It helped us in retrieving files easily for repeated use.

Allows us to share files, documents, from any device from anywhere, with internet connection.
Excellent productivity and suite collaboration.
Includes desktop to desktop file syncing.

Privacy is a concern, because Google collects other information from your online activity to serve targeted ads.
Productivity software less capable than MS Office.
Should implement password protection for shared files.

Return on Investment

Positive impact on sharing efforts among employees.
Enhanced organization of files and documents of all company.
As we use MS Office 365, we needed more interaction with MS platform tools.

Alternatives Considered

Dropbox and OneDrive

Google drive can be easier to make changes in documents, and see those changes live. But, One Drive has the needed interaction with all MS Office 365 tools we use.

Performance

I gave this rating because Google Drive is really fast. Pages load quickly, reports can be complete in a good time. Furthermore, more than one user can make changes simultaneously, and see those changes instantly. It has integration with all Google Docs tools, and a very fast response to all of them.

Usability

Google Drive ease of use is really good, even for a beginner, he will quickly get how Google Drive works.

Google Drive is very useful for any kind of organization. It is one of the slickest and fullest featured, and most generous cloud storage. If you need syncing services, it has excellent productivity suite collaboration capabilities. Furthermore, Google Drive is really impressive in how it can store, back up, create and even edit files, also it is affordable.
